What is the New Dodge Charger Daytona EV?
This vehicle has the same overall look as the previous-generation Charger but with a revised grille and all-electric underpinnings. The Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack, uses a 400-volt charge module and has two electric motors, one in the front and one in the rear, built-in on the frame of the vehicle.
It has a 93.9-kWh nickel cobalt aluminum battery to power it, and you can find power boost options to get a maximum output of 670 horsepower on the Daytona Scat Pack. There are also fun features unique to Dodge, including Donut mode, Drift mode, launch control, and Line Locks for those who want some of that muscle car feel. Dodge estimates that the Charger EV Scat Pack gets up to 260 miles.
With fast charging, it's estimated that the Dodge Charger Daytona EV can get from 20 to 80 percent charged in under a half hour, but charging times vary.
Interior and Technology
The new Charger EV offers a sporty interior with unique seating options and standout designs, plus you have a small trunk in the front in place of where an engine would be. Enjoy your choice of large touch displays plus a digital instrument cluster where you can track performance features. There are fold-down rear seats if you need to slide larger items through from the trunk, while you can also find connective technology with your smartphone and enjoy premium sound with an 18-speaker Alpine sound system available.
