When looking at the models available within the new Dodge lineup, it's always interesting to compare their style and designs to the vehicles that were their original source of inspiration. This is precisely why Chrysler puts on the annual Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit for its biggest fans.

Among the models on display are all kinds of classic muscle cars. Those lining the streets of Motor City get quite the show, as a diverse lineup of Chrysler and Dodge models parade by them. Luckily there were plenty of photos captured, so we can bring all of you in the Missoula, MT area the highlights of the event.

For starters, in attendance were older versions of the Dodge Charger, and Challenger models. They were joined by a flashy Viper, the Monkeemobile as used by The Monkees in their 1960s TV show, and several other uniquely painted classics. Each and every vehicle turned quite a few heads during the parade.

We love looking back to the origins of our favorite Dodge models, especially considering how far the automotive world has advanced today in terms of performance, technology and safety features. Current models like the Dodge Grand Caravan are a testament to the automaker's progress in these areas.
